Wildcrafted Agarikon Capsules Mushroom Extract (120 count) Ancient Immune Strength

Love the Agarikon it is part of my daily routine, only thing I would like to see changed is to have a 240 capsule size bottle. Amazing product though one of my favourites!

It doesn't seem to be dual-extracted from what I can tell, but it is derived from the fruiting body, avoiding growth on grains and is wild-crafted. We've been missing beta-glucans for a while, so we decided to give this mushroom version a try. It's also beneficial for addressing some other health concerns. I've found that it works well in miso soup with veggies and meat when I empty a couple of capsules in there. Additionally, it can be added to tea. The powder doesn't have much flavor on its own when tasted straight. There's a bit of bitterness on the back of the tongue for a few seconds, but it's no more bitter than tea and isn't noticeable in tea or soup. Plus, there are no fillers or additions.

I am always looking for ways to add mushrooms to my diet, so I was excited to try this product. As other reviewers have noted, the bottle looks different than the images displayed, but this did not affect my experience taking these supplements.The pills were a bit bulky but still went down easily enough. As for results, I had blood work done a couple of times before and after using this product, and I noticed more Vitamin D, as well as some lower LDL cholesterol numbers. I'm not saying it will work for everyone, but it seemed to help me out.

As one who fervently believes you can never have too many medicinal mushrooms, I was anxious to try Agarikon - a mushroom species I was unfamiliar with. Each capsule provides 300mg of pure Agarikon, sourced through hot-water extraction. The recommended dosage is 4 capsules per day, making this a one-month's supply.But if you're like me, and also take other medicinal mushrooms like reishi, cordyceps, turkey tail, etc, I suggest taking half the recommended dose, which when combined with others, is sure to have a cumulative effect on your overall immunity. And bonus points to Longevity Botanicals for NOT adding ANY fillers whatsoever - I really wish more nootropic manufacturers would get with the program!

This is Agarikon mushroom (Fomitopsis officinalis, aka Larcifomes officinalis), not to be confused with mushrooms of genus Agaricus, such as the Royal Sun Agaricus mushroom (Agaricus blazei), some of which are also sold as nutraceutical supplements. These Agarikon mushrooms have a reputation for boosting certain functions of the immune system, and were a new supplement for me. I've used nearly the entire bottle now, dosing 1 pill per day with a meal, and have only felt in good health the entire time. This product is a good option for a supplement that is not widely sold.

I am happy to be able to add the health benefits of mushrooms to my diet in an easy-to-swallow capsule.

Hubby and I work a lot and don't eat the way we would like to. I read up a lot about the power of these ancient mushrooms and their many benefits.I have a sensitive stomach and was a little afraid , the serving size are 4 vegan capsules a day. I took 2 in the morning with breakfast to start.No problem , no bloating , cramps , burps .They don't have a wired smell or taste . The powder looks uniform .We all know how hard it is to rate supplements because we all react differently.So far I am happy with the quality , I have to trust that the company is honest and the powder is from the most potent part ( fruiting )I will try to up the dosage to the recommended 4 capsules a day , always with or after food .I just wish that the powder could be packed into just 2 capsules., even if that would make the capsules bigger. They are " normal " size now and easy to swallow . I am hoping the antiviral benefits of this will strengthen our immune system and keep us healthier.
