Not only is there a plastic liner around the top of the bottle, but there's also a foam liner under the cap, followed by a metal liner to ensure secure packaging. The gel capsules are of a size that makes them easy to swallow. To examine closely, I poured a capsule onto a paper towel, and surprisingly, there wasn't much of any discernible smell. With fifteen varieties of mushrooms, I expected some aroma, but it was minimal. Given the well-known health benefits of mushrooms, I was particularly interested in this exceptional blend. Now comes the part where I have to let my body decide if they are truly helpful or not. If only I had a secret lab to investigate! (Lol.) The recommended daily dosage is three capsules, making it approximately a dollar a day. This price seems reasonable. Only time will tell, and I will update accordingly.
