Love the convenience of this powder. I enjoy a scoop in my morning coffee. I would purchase again. This package goes a long way!!
If you've read some of my previous reviews, you know that I am a HUGE fan of medicinal mushrooms: reishi, turkey tail, shiitake, lions mane, et al. I especially like using pure mushroom essence powder, which goes great with either coffee or a cacao beverage. Imagine my surprise when I tried Chaga Ultra - it boasts using only the fruiting body, a hot water extraction method, and no added fillers. When I opened the bag, it looked like ground coffee, but I took a whiff, then a taste, and it became clear it was indeed, mushroom. Then I tried it in my coffee: like Terrasoul's Reishi, it not only blended well, it enhanced the flavor - almost resembling chocolate! And to think, just a teaspoon per day in my morning joe will not only boost my immunity, but improve my focus, energy, sleep, the list goes on. For improved gut health, and overall well-being, this Chaga rocks! I can't recommend this product highly enough .
This is a really nice dark rich powder, and it has a wonderful nutty flavor. This does NOT taste like mushrooms at all, kind of earthy, healthy and actually really good. The way I use mushroom powder is I make a weak cup of coffee so I don't get loaded up on caffeine, and I add a spoonful of of mushroom powder to the coffee. When I have 1/2 a cup I add 1/2 and 1/2 and use a frother to blend it up. It's really good! There are incredible health benefits to mushrooms, Chaga is known for helping to boost your immune system and also as an anti-inflammatory (who doesn't need those benefits?). The only thing to know about mushroom coffee, or mixed in any other drink, is it does tend to settle on the bottom, and if you want all the health benefits, don't dump that down the drain! Stir it up when you're almost done with your coffee, and drink all the good powder that's on the bottom of your cup as well!
Very fine powder that sticks. I've never had chaga before so I didn't know what to expect. The powder is very fine and has a woodsy smell. Taste is earthy but not unpleasant. I used the enclosed spoon and tapped it into my tea, not realizing that the powder on the handle spilled onto my countertop. I wiped it off and noticed it stuck to my skin. It didn't noticeable change the taste of my tea, and I'm looking forward to the purported benefits. Will update. Update: Wow! The energy level is incredible. I wasn't drowsy in the afternoon or evening, was focused, and it doesn't feel like caffeine or anything--no heart pounding, just alertness. I then got up at five in the morning and did my half an hour on the stairstepper with gusto. It's not like caffeine because I slept quite well. I just didn't need as much sleep. I only took a small scoop [provided] with my Earl Gray tea.
I think the quality of this Chaya is great but I have one nagging question. Where are the mushrooms grown and in what country is it made? The bag says it’s distributed out of Canada but that doesn’t answer my questions. That aside, this is a very fine powder and I mix it in coffee and smoothies. In coffee it doesn’t dissolve so stirring it every few sips is the way to go. BUT - the slightly earthy flavor does not detract from my coffee drinking pleasure.
I am interested in the benefits of chaga. This is a very easy way to enjoy them. The resealable envelope contains a fine milked powder and a smallnplastic scoop. The powder dissolves easily and does not noticeably impact the flavor, smell or texture of the beverage , hot or cold. I use it in coffee. Some mushroom powders are very earthy or bitter; others are grainy. This one is unnoticeable. Excellent way to reap the benefits without ruining your drink.
I consume a number of mushrooms daily. Chaga is one of the mushrooms in my daily regimen. I mix my own blend of various mushrooms (from bulk powder) and I take them in supplement capsule form. Studies indicate potential health benefits from Chaga Mushrooms involving focus, concentration and mood. It’s also noted for boosting the immune system. I added this to a cup of coffee, and it had the expected earthy flavor notes. It appears to be quality Chaga Mushroom, in extract form. Unfortunately, they don’t provide the extract ratio/concentration. They do state that they use 100% fruiting bodies. And the powder has no fillers, no added starch, no mycelium. Of import, the product label does display the USDA Organic badge. This certification ensures the integrity and purity of the chaga mushroom and demonstrates the company’s commitment to a quality product. The USDA Organic badges (and the Kosher badge) checks important quality assurance boxes for me. This Chaga Mushroom Extract Powder does satisfy expectations. The product details offers clear representation of the product. The powder appears to be very good quality, earning a 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.
Been using this on and off for over a week and I have noticed a difference. I am more focused and have less brain fog and am more energized at work. I add a tsp of it to my coffee or just mix it with warm water and drink it. The taste is not very strong and does not smell. So far I like this Chaga Ultra Supplement.
Apparently this stuff helps reduce cancer, and boost immunity. I have no idea if it is working or not, (I don't have an active tally of cancer in my body) but I'll use it, what's the worst that could happen. It doesn't have any flavour, which is kind of sad, but the scoops make it easy to measure out the amount that you want and add it to whatever you like. Packaging looks kind of cool though.
Chaga can be enjoyed both cold or hot. I personally like to put a scoop in my morning coffee! At first glance, you might think it's a bit pricey but the benefits of Chaga are worth the price for me!
I’ve always been curious about chaga - I have had chaga tea in the past, but I’m not sure the concentration was nearly enough to reap many benefits of this mushroom. That’s why I was so excited to try out this powder supplement made of 100% fruiting body, which I can incorporate daily into many different foods and/or drinks. When you open up the package, you’ll notice the bag is less than half full. Each bag contains 100g of chaga powder, which equates to 60 servings of half a teaspoon. This means that if taking 1 scoop daily, this powder would last you 2 months. Surprisingly, even straight out of the bag, I didn’t find there to be much smell to the chaga powder at all. I was expecting to be off-put by a strong scent, but I was proved wrong! So far, I’ve added a scoop to my morning coffee and do not notice a difference in taste. It’s a great way to incorporate antioxidants into your diet, which in turn promotes immune system support. I found it a bit strange, because on the product page it states that the package does not contain a measuring spoon, but it actually does. I’m glad they’ve included the measuring spoon because it makes it very convenient to scoop out the powder, and you can simply leave it in the bag as your designated chaga spoon. There is currently a substantial discount on this product, from $49.99 down to $35.99. If you were on the fence about trying out chaga as a supplement, now is the time to snag a bag while it’s on sale. The expiry date on the package I received is 10/2023, which means it’ll last over a year and a half from the time I ordered it, which is a pretty great shelf life. If you want to stock up on a few bags, you can do so without worrying they’ll expire too soon. Despite being expensive for the number of servings you get, this chaga powder is definitely worth adding into your daily diet for a natural immune boost. It makes me feel good knowing that I’m helping out my body’s defence system every day with something as simple as a little scoop in my morning coffee. I highly recommend!
As a coffee lover who drinks 3 coffees a day, I decided to incorporate some healthy organic Chaga mushroom powder to my diet and I am happy to say I can barely taste it! I've been adding a spoonful of the powder with the included little measuring cup to my afternoon coffee. It dissolves surprisingly well in the coffee unlike other powders I've tried. The taste is a tad bitter but so is my coffee so in my books it's worth it for all the super immunities and health benefits. Overall I highly recommend to anyone who is lacking energy and is trying to be healthier. I'm very happy with the product and can highly recommend. Ive been drinking Chaga mushroom tea for over a year. I am happy with this alternative to help continue boosting my immune system.
Chaga mushroom is a fungus that grows primarily on birch trees in cold climates. With an appearance similar to burnt charcoal, it has been harvested for centuries as traditional medicine. Traditional medicine practitioners in Northern Europe, Siberia, Russia, Korea, and Alaska have used Chaga for millennia to improve immunity and general health. It is claimed that taking Chaga with either warm or cold water can help to release its therapeutic qualities. I usually mix it with coffee and take it in the morning. Chaga is low in calories, high in fibre, and packed with antioxidants, making Chaga a healthy choice. It is most commonly used to promote immunity and overall health. I was exhausted after working hard at work. I do not feel so tired since I have taken this Chaga Mushroom Supplement Extract Powder for a while. The cost is prohibitively expensive for most people. One pack contains only 100 g, which is enough for 60 servings.
Easy to incorporate into your favourite beverage and full of natural goodness. I take it into my morning coffee and it does not taste bad at all. I am all for getting better natural immunity and the other attribute of this extract like antioxidants and digestive support. And it is organic another great thing.
I quite like it in a cup of tea
My husband loves this deoderant so I'll keep buying it. It really smells great too.
