Organic Bulk Maitake Powder Mushroom 10:1 Extract (1 KG / 2.2 LB) (10 Bags)

I've been ordering from this company because of several factors that set them apart from other mushroom supplement brands: 3rd party testing, USDA Organic, USA manufactured, high beta d glucans, and no fillers. I've seen cheaper options, but they do not include these added benefits that equal a reliably clean supplement. It would be nice if they omitted the silicone dioxide, so I would reduce the rating by a fraction if I could. Only whole stars are available, so 5 stars it is.

I have taken these for awhile and I have not noticed an increase in energy levels yet. There is no taste to taking the capsules and I have had no after taste either. There is a total of 36,000mg, 1.27oz in this bottle. I will probably switch to the powder next time that has over 99,000mg at 3.5oz and mix in a shake or something. The dosage is 3 pills a day, so this is a 40 day supply. Easy way to take these mushrooms but I think I will switch to the powder when done with the capsules.

The picture on the packaging contradicts the content, specifying the absence of fillers, but this is apparently true only for the powdered form, not the capsules. Undisclosed Additives: The bottle's ingredients reveal several additives not mentioned in the product description: Hypromellose: A viscolizing agent, coating polymer, bioadhesive, used in solid dispersion to enhance solubility, and as a binder in the granulation process. Silicon Dioxide: A flow agent. Microcrystalline Cellulose: Commonly used as a bulking agent, binder, glidant, disintegrant, and auxiliary suspending agent. Possibly Stearic Acid: A flow agent, lubricant, binder, or anti-caking agent (unclear if present). Misleading Claims and Filler Concerns: While the product claims to be free of fillers, the inclusion of hypromellose, silicon dioxide, and microcrystalline cellulose contradicts this assertion. Additionally, it's important to note that the product description on the bottle differs from the initial understanding provided in the picture. Recommended Fillers to Avoid: The product contains additives that some consider undesirable in supplements. An apple a day keeps the doctor away... So I was hoping a scoop of maitake extract powder will do the same. Used for 1000s of years in treating many ailments giving a boost to your immune system and heart health. Plus numerous other benefits. Anything helps. This is a strong extract with 100g in a resealable package, which works out to around 60 servings using the 1.6g scoop provided. $59.99 with a $5. coupon offered. The flavor is very mushroomy with no I'll lingering aftertaste. In my reading there is promising results relating to cancer, in people as well as animals. So I am also trying it to reduce or eliminate a tumor that my dog has. Many dog owners have used mushroom powders with good results and I'm hoping for the same. Medicinal mushroom extracts rock! They increase vitality, enhance immunity and contribute to overall health and well-being. I've used both powdered extracts and liquid tinctures - I think I prefer the powder because I can put them in empty vegan capsules and make my own supplement, especially because I can mix Maitake for instance, with Lion's Mane, or Chaga, or Reishi, or whatever.

Just started using it, so can't comment on it's effectiveness. Shipped quickly and smells very nice, doesn't alter The taste of my coffee.

I FOUND THIS TO BE A CONVENIENT WAY TO ADD SOME MAITAKE TO MY SHAKE. I OPEN A CAPSULE AND USE A SMALL AMOUNT OUT OF THE CAPSULE, AND EASILY CLOSE THE CAPSULE FOR THE NEXT TIME. THIS IS A NICE ALTERNATIVE TO ADDING DROPS OF A MAITAKE TINCTURE.

Too early to know if it did anything. Mushrooms I'm told can take up to 60 or 90 days(approx) to start manifesting change. Some faster. But Maitake targeting the immune system, I suspect it works under the radar.

I did my research & I am giving this a 5 Start as I feel it's a good product.

Maitake mushrooms are good for you but the tablets come in a very small bottle. Maybe very good as I have not tried them yet
